WhhaaHooo!! We made it.

After multiple hiccups arranging the trip, my partents not being able to go and  a 6 hour drive that took over 10 with its own difficulties finally, FINALLY we made it to Disneyland.

The girls were so amazing while we were there, they even handled the car ride better then me. The first thing we did was Tarzans treehouse, which the girls loved, especially Lauren it is her favorite.  She loved growling at Sabor the Leopard.  I tried to feed Aliyah to him, she did not think it was funny and everytime we went after that she would say "mom don't hold me by the tiger its scare me" and she would run past him.

These are the characters we saw around the park, who signed our book.  Lauren loved the notebook we brought for an autograph book.  She would freak out when we took it from her to let the characters sign it.

Aliyah love the haunted mansion the best, whe called it the witchs house.  All of us like Pirated of the Carribean, and if you sing "Yo Ho, yo ho a pirated life for me" to Lauren she gets a great big grin on her face .   We were able to go on: Winnie the Pooh, Haunted Mansion, Pirated, Peter Pan, Mr. Toad, Pinocchio, Snow White, Dumbo, Its a small world, Nemo submarine, Matterhorn (with the girls too.) Tarzan, Alice in Wonderland the Carosel, the train and Aurora's castle.

We got to see Princess Tiana and her Jubilee show, both girls got beads from them at the Mardi Gras parade and since we were some of the only ones there the were so cute with the girls.
Aliyah and I had tea at Minnie's house and Mickey had a birthday cake for Daniel
We got to see the Christmas Parade.  It was so fun and so good.  It was nice to have a reason to sit down and eat ice cream while we waited for the parade.  We were not able to see Tinkerbell or the Princesses because the lines were long, moved slow and Lauren would have nothing to do with waiting.  However, at the parade all the Princess were there.  Aliyah love Cinderella the most, probably because she has blond hair and blue eyes just like her, during the parade Cinderella came over by Aliyah and waved AT her.  It was the best part of Disneyland for me, I got teary.  I knew that would mean the world to Aliyah and it did.
We also got to see the lighting of the castle.  Aliyah liked this a lot too.  They blew paper confetti everywhere to make it look like it was snowing, the girls loved it.

It was a great trip and so magical. The best thing was to have the girls with us.  To see Disneyland through the eyes of a child is magical, like Christmas with Santa Claus, something great is lost as we grow to old to believe so easily.  We will definately be going back, hopefully Grandma or PaPa or some of our family can go with us, we missed not having Grandma but called her a lot. Aliayh talks about it eveyday and wants to go everyday but when I tell her we can't today she settles for "on my birthday?"  It was the best thing that we have done this year....hands down.

That is so magical! Kate prays every night that mom and dad will find a way to take her to Disneyland. I can't wait until we can make her dream come true!
