Aliyah and her Safari explorers

Let the Safari begin!

First they all needed Safari hats, binoculars and vests

Then we were ready to go out into the jungle.

This is the Safari Rhino Range. We shot water at animals I had put up on the windows.

Then we had to cross the quick sand by going over the monkey bars.

Next we had to feed the lion to get past him without him biting us!

Then slide down the elephants trunk. (wouldn't it have been great to have 2 huge elephant ears cut out on both sides of the slide......if I only had more time)

Next it was across the swamp where the girls had to step on the hippos back to get to the other side. (Lauren loved this and made it quite authentic by adding rocks, sticks and dirt and anything she could find.)

The Snake pit!  The girls had to jump through the snake pit without getting bit by a snake!

WATCH OUT!!

Can you stretch tall like a giraffe?  These girls did at the giraffe stretch.  They stretched their neck and got a treat hanging in the tree.

then under the snake we went for a game of limbo.  It was so fun to see the girls try and play this!

How low can you go?

We went on a jungle egg hunt too, the eggs were filled with candy.

After exploring the jungle we needed a snack, so we sat under our safari tent and ate animal crackers, chocolate rice crispy treats (shaped like lions and giraffes) and washed it all down with green jungle juice.

Then Aliyah got to open the wonderful gifts her friends had brought her.  We played heavy heavy hang over, they had to work hard to bump her head but they managed.

The last game we played was "Lion, lion are you hungry?" The girls loved this.  They had so much fun, I think it was their favorite game.

We had a blast and by the end of the day this is how we all felt!
